COSHH – Control of Substances Hazardous to Health


COSHH is the common acronym for the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health and is an important piece of health and safety legislation. In this course, the legislation and regulations relating to COSHH are covered, including the symbols used to warn of the presence of hazardous substances.

The course also covers how harmful substances can enter the body and the actions that can be taken to mitigate the risks. This includes the hierarchy of control measures and conducting risk assessments.
